One with nature

As the successor to the highly popular "Neotec" model launched at the end of 2011, the Neotec II now offers numerous new features and functions that once again set a new benchmark in the flip-up helmet segment. In particular, the first complete integration of a communication solution in a SHOEI helmet is what makes this model so special.

New flip-up helmet with pioneering design

The first thing you notice is the striking design of the Neotec II. Its even more aggressive look with an extremely compact design thanks to three different shell sizes, combined with a perfect fit and maximum functionality, characterise this model.

New lines, a flat finish to the visor and chin section and the partial use of black components create a progressive and uniform overall look.

In order to fit as many motorbike models as possible, the upper ventilation also serves as a spoiler when riding upright, while in a sportier and forward-leaning riding position, the rear spoiler shape of the shell has a particularly stabilising effect.

Enjoy the comfort zone

To make particularly long rides even more comfortable, we have further optimised the comfort of the new Neotec II and reduced unwanted disruptive factors.

Thanks to the "Noise Isolation" construction, the innovative cheek pads developed in the wind tunnel prevent wind from penetrating the helmet and thus enable a significantly quieter riding experience.

When the stainless steel ratchet fastener is closed, the Neotec II also offers very effective wind protection downwards. The chin spoiler (aero deflector) has also been redesigned and promotes stability for relaxed riding with low turbulence.

The 3D-designed, completely removable and washable padding consists of several urethane foams in different degrees of hardness and thus offers a precisely fitting shape and extremely high wearing comfort.

Revised folding mechanism

As with its predecessor, the folding mechanism of the Neotec II is eccentrically shaped and has a variable axis to ensure optimum closure.

The chin section is held securely in position even when folded up thanks to a now stronger mechanism.

In addition, there is a further rear latching position that enables P/J dual homologation as a jet and full-face helmet.

The release button of the Neotec II's folding mechanism has been designed so that it is easy to operate even in winter when wearing thick gloves.

The rear edge of the chin section also has a vortex generator, which noticeably calms the airflow at this transition point.

Sophisticated protective function The Neotec II has an AIM shell (Advanced Integrated Matrix) consisting of five different fibreglass and organic layers. This achieves an optimum compromise between maximum stability and flexibility at the same time.

The core of the Neotec II also consists of several EPS elements of different hardness depending on the area and thus optimally absorbs impact Energy.

Integrated communication for the first time

A completely new feature of SHOEI is the ability to fully integrate an optional communication system into the helmet shell.

The Neotec II features a separate, triangular-shaped control unit on the lower side of the helmet, which is fully embedded in the helmet shell and thus creates a homogeneous appearance.

The leading manufacturer "SENA" is a partner of SHOEI and offers the appropriate intercom option in a pioneering 3-button design with its SRL* system (SHOEI Rider Link) developed especially for the Neotec II.

The SRL* chipset is based on the 20S system from SENA and is currently the best communication solution on the market. Up to eight riders can connect via Bluetooth 4.1 with a maximum range of 2 km, communicate with each other, listen to music, use their mobile phone or sat nav and much more. Enough air for long tours

A newly developed ventilation system makes it the perfect choice for touring riders.

The lower air intake has a new shape, supplies fresh air to the mouth and visor area and is particularly airtight when closed. Compared to its predecessor, the upper ventilation has now been designed with two air inlets, while there are already air outlets above the slits in the rear area.

The rear ventilation with its three additional air outlets also serves as a spoiler and literally "draws" the used air out of the helmet through this negative pressure. Visor without a hard edge The new CNS-3 visor stands out with its bevelled edge in the upper area, which prevents moisture in particular from penetrating the inside of the helmet.

In addition, the visor seal has been redesigned and ensures a tight and leak-proof seal between the visor and the outer shell.

Different material thicknesses and a distortion-free, extra-large view characterise the injection-moulded CNS-3 visor made of polycarbonate. The integrated QSV-1 sun visor of the Neotec II can now also be optionally replaced with a yellow-tinted, contrast-enhancing lens.

The cut-out opening in the helmet shell for the sun visor mechanism has also been considerably reduced, resulting in a significant increase in stability in this area.
