Launched in 2014, the original Vertigo was developed with high goals after more than 2 years of development. At the time, the Vertigo pushed the boundaries of sports shoe technology to the absolute limit and spared no expense for the best. A testament to its enduring superiority, the Vertigo has remained unchanged since its first release to this day.
The Vertigo-2 boot uses the same boundary testing technology as its predecessor with additional tweaks and refinements to better meet the demanding requirements of knee grinders and throttle lumpers.
The Vertigo-2 boots are made from SIDI's exclusive Technomicro base material and are water and tear resistant as well as easy to clean and maintain. The Vertigo's single nylon ankle support brace limits lateral movement and reinforces the inner and outer ankle joint to provide more support and stability. In addition, the vents positioned under the brace are operated by an accessible aerodynamic sliding mechanism to provide optional airflow.
In addition, the Vertigo boot series is one of the few racing boots in the SIDI product range to offer a patented Tecno VR calf adjustment system. The Tecno VR system is designed to accommodate calves of any size in a clean, supportive and protective manner. It has micro-adjustments to achieve a perfect fit. By simply lifting and turning the Tecno knob, the internal monofilament cord closes evenly and closes the boot step by step around the rider's calf, according to the rider's preference.
