TCX RT-Race Boots

TCX RT-RACE, the new boot in the TCX Racing line, surprises with a fresh design and a dynamic look. A model that not only impresses on the road, but also on the race track with outstanding performance. In terms of design, the boot has a sleek racing style with a narrower toe and new sole design. The Fasten Fit Control lacing system integrated into the boot lining with extremely tear-resistant laces also ensures a perfect fit and an improved riding experience, perfectly enclosing the foot.

To make it even easier to put the boot on, the zip has been attached to the outside and combined with an element made of overmoulded elastic material. A finely adjustable and quick-opening aluminium buckle in the shin area guarantees secure closure of the boots and enables optimum adjustment to the individual calf width.

The upper material made from lightweight, durable microfibre has been enhanced with technical details. The overmoulded elasticated material elements at the front and sides give the boot a bold, dynamic look.

The inner lining is made from breathable AIR-TECH material, while the ankle padding with different thicknesses guarantees maximum comfort.

A further convenience of the RT-RACE is the new Double Flex Control System with a polyurethane pivot point at ankle height, which enables optimum forwards/backwards mobility. The system is fixed to the boot shaft with two concealed screws above the ankles. The special design allows the foot to bend forwards up to 14 degrees and at the same time - thanks to two tongues running in corresponding guide elements - limits the extension to the rear to a maximum of 13 degrees. In this way, the Double Flex Control System offers ideal protection against injuries caused by excessive flexion or extension of the foot beyond its physical limits.

Additional PU reinforcements on the shin, ankle, heel and toes protect the most easily injured areas of the foot. The replaceable PU slider on the back, which is anchored to the heel, enables natural grinding on the tarmac in the event of a fall.

RT-RACE is available in many different colours and in a special waterproof Version.

The new single-component rubber sole is perfectly integrated into the design of the boot and ensures a comfortable fit. The new profile with different grip areas guarantees a secure grip on the footboard and maximum freedom of movement while riding.

The safety of the boot is certified in accordance with the new EN 13634:2015 Standard.
