 SAFETY
The high-performance outer shell of the SHOEI GT-Air3 made of AIM (Advanced Integrated Matrix) combines high flexibility with low weight thanks to its composition of fibreglass and organic fibres.
In conjunction with a polystyrene core system made up of several elements with different absorption capacities, this helmet shell offers the highest possible level of protection.
The PINLOCK EVO lens supplied with the helmet is extremely effective in reducing the tendency of the visor to fog up, even in adverse weather conditions.

With its high optical quality and large usable field of vision, the CNS-1C visor allows distortion-free perception of the traffic situation, even at the edges of the field of vision. Like all full-face helmet visors from SHOEI, it reduces the penetration of more than 99% of incident UV radiation into the inside of the helmet.
The comfortably narrow chin strap with micro-ratchet fastening is easy to use and holds the helmet securely in position.
In an emergency, the cheek pads can be easily removed using the EQRS system (Emergency Quick Release System) for gentle helmet removal.
The SHOEI GT-Air3 fulfils the requirements of the ECE-R 22.06 test standard for full-face helmets.

 CARRYING COMFORT
The 3 different outer shell sizes of the SHOEI GT-Air3 (XS-M | L | XL-XXL) enable a wide range of sizes with an optimum ratio of helmet to body size. The helmet's ergonomically effective centre of gravity reduces strain on the neck muscles and prevents fatigue, both on extended tours and on fast motorway stages.
Distinctly contoured head pads support air circulation in the helmet and, like the three-dimensionally pre-shaped cheek pads and chin strap padding, are fully removable and washable. The head and cheek pads are available in different thicknesses to customise the helmet.

Removable ear pads in the ear area contribute effectively to noise reduction.
The clear CNS-1C visor, which is fitted as standard and has a virtually unrestricted field of vision, can be changed without tools thanks to its tried-and-tested quick-change mechanism. The self-adjusting visor mechanism of the SHOEI GT-Air3 enables a gradual, torsion-free opening of the visor thanks to its well-contoured grid, including an initial opening position for additional fresh air in hot summer temperatures or to reduce the tendency of the visor to fog up.
The central opening and locking mechanism, as well as the raised ventilation controls, are easy to operate even when wearing thick gloves.

The integrated, high-quality QSV-2 sun visor of the SHOEI GT-Air II is infinitely extendable. It covers the usable field of vision almost completely and can be replaced easily and without tools with an optional, yellow-tinted visor with a contrast-enhancing effect. This additional visor ensures optimum vision for a wide range of applications and weather conditions.
Cut-outs in the ear area and prepared cable guides allow the SRL3 Mesh communication system from SENA, available from the SHOEI range of accessories, to be fitted quickly and easily into the SHOEI COMLINK interface of the GT-Air3.

 VENTILATION
Ventilation inlets directed directly into the incoming airflow and exhaust air outlets positioned at a favourable height reduce the temperature and humidity inside the SHOEI GT-Air3. The GT-Air3 always supplies the wearer with sufficient fresh air and provides a pleasant indoor climate, both when travelling in warm countries and during the cold season.
A removable filter in the lower front ventilation prevents insects from entering.
The revised visor grid of the SHOEI GT-Air3 with its first grid stage enables a stable, gap-wide opening of the visor and thus allows additional fresh air into the inside of the helmet.

 AERODYNAMICS
Pronounced integrated spoiler edges, smooth transitions between the visor and helmet shell and a slimmer helmet shell in the frontal chin area increase the aerodynamic performance of the SHOEI GT-Air3 and at the same time contribute to reducing the wearer's noise exposure.

 ACCESSORIES
Suitable visors for the SHOEI GT-Air3 are available in a variety of different tints and mirror coatings, which can be used in compliance with ECE homologation guidelines. All visors of this type available from the SHOEI range of accessories can be fitted with anti-fog PINLOCK EVO lenses, one of which is included with the helmet.
The integrated, heavily tinted QSV-2 sun visor can be replaced with a yellow-tinted version with a contrast-enhancing effect.
The SHOEI range of accessories includes cheek pads and head pads in various sizes and thicknesses as well as a slide-in pad for the top of the head to replace the original pads or to customise the helmet padding. There is also a chin strap pad, a breath guard and a chin curtain.
The SENA SRL3 Mesh communication system from SHOEI's range of accessories can be used in the SHOEI COMLINK interface of the GT-Air3. When coupled with a mobile phone, navigation device or other intercom devices, the SRL3 Mesh provides information and entertainment while riding and blends almost invisibly into the helmet shell of the SHOEI GT-Air3. With its high-end loudspeakers, high-quality microphone and sound system from harman/kardon, the SRL3 Mesh delivers rich sound and crystal-clear voice transmission.

 SCOPE OF DELIVERY
The SHOEI GT-Air3 comes with a PINLOCK EVO visor for use with the CNS-1C visor fitted as standard, matching replacement pins and a small maintenance tool that is helpful when installing the SRL communication system. Also included are a Breath Guard, a Chin Curtain, SHOEI logo stickers, an original SHOEI helmet bag for careful storage of the helmet and a silicone oil for maintaining the visor seal and mechanism. The helmet manual and the brochure "Correct use of your helmet" contain valuable information on the use, maintenance and care of the SHOEI GT-Air3.
