Certification of motorbike boots and protectors
Certification of motorbike boots
The certification is divided into four areas, each of which is tested individually. Therefore, the test mark of the boots also has four individual targets, i.e. levels, e.g: Level 1 1 1 1, where 1 is the lowest and 2 is the highest level. These 4 areas are roughly subdivided. The first number indicates the shaft height, the second the impact abrasion resistance, the third the drop cut resistance and the fourth the lateral stiffness. Certification of protectors
The certification of protectors is handled in a similar way to boots. There are Level 1 and Level 2, with the latter offering the higher level of safety. For more information, Dainese has written a wonderful article, which you can find here: Regulations Certification Protectors
