This means that the lining is separate from the outer shell and can move freely. This results in greater comfort and versatility, and the membrane can also be used with an insulating layer. And because it's a GORE-TEX product, it includes the GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY™ promise, which includes waterproofing and breathability so you can keep riding.
Gore-Tex 3L Pro Fabric
Its unique 100 per cent ePTFE-based microstructures are permanently bonded to the outer material and a specially developed lining. The centrepiece of this technology is the new GORE-TEX Pro membrane. It is firmly bonded to the outer material and a Micro Grid carrier fabric. This is the secret of GORE-TEX Pro: no PU membrane is used, which means that the membrane does not need to be wet before it starts to breathe. This in turn significantly increases its performance. The Micro Grid support fabric is also exclusive to GORE-TEX Pro and has low internal abrasion values, but high tear resistance combined with improved breathability and lower weight. It also allows the garment to slide easily over the middle layer of underwear when putting it on and taking it off and feels very comfortable against the skin. It has been developed for maximum durability and protection.
